Citrus

I decided to have a little fun with fruit, spending some time manufacturing my own state of the art system (with help from my mentor). I flipped over a stool and bent my desk lamp down into the middle, stretched out some aluminum foil to make a brighter, larger area to work on, and covered it with a white shirt and glass frame. The results: glowing citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon, orange, and lime). Not to mention, Gus (a friend at school) designed my new signature, I think it's perfect.

Thank you so much!! I am just using the kit lens right now because those suckers are expensive! I am saving for a new one, but something always comes up (new shoes, new camera bag, new workshop, dinner out haha). I have trouble budgeting. I feel like I'm never going to get a new lens!!!!

Keys to sharpness that I try so hard to follow:
good lighting (I use natural)
steady hand (can be tough)
focus on the eyes, that way if they're sharp, the pic will pop!

:)
