Blue Moon

A blue moon - a second or "extra" full moon of a month - rises on Dec. 30. Most years have twelve full moons, but since the lunar calendar ends with an excess of about 11 days compared to our Gregorian calendar, a second full moon appears every three years. New Years Eve wont see another blue moon until 2028.

Thanksgiving 2009

Finally posting the photos from this past Thanksgiving. It was a great time laughing with my cousins and experiencing the holiday with a new generation.
